Our sales director Caroline conducted market research on products on the market and found currently there are no WATERPROOF FOAM BRA INSERTS yet, the only waterproof bra insert is the heavy silicone insert.
Caroline wants a bra insert that can provide good padding, a little push-up effect, lightweight. Traditional bra foam pads are light but will absorb water and become bulky. So we organized a meeting with our manufacturer, and they proposed that we can take special waterproof processing on the fabric’s surface to achieve this goal. These are fabric, not waterproof. One was smashed out of form the other had a hair. Won't work in swimwear. More like a sports bra insert with pushup.09/07/2024

I'm not sure who/what started the trend of "unlined" bras and "unlined" swimsuits. But here we are, and these little inserts have come to my rescue.
In addition to using them to replace the cheap-o, super thin inserts that come in swimsuits and dresses (they fit into the little "insert pockets" quite while, despite being pretty thick), I also pop them into my unlined swimsuits and unlined bras, and they stay in place nicely, despite there being no little "pockets" to put them into.
The shape (and the little "shelf") at the bottom lead to a nice fit. They are a bit on the "thick" side, so you will get that "I'm wearing a padded bra" look with some tops. That's fine. Better to have coverage, than to make my in-laws wondering if I'm cold, if you catch my drift.
I'm an a-cup, not sure how these work for bigger sizes.
I pop them into my little mesh laundry bag in the washing machine, and they haven't fallen apart yet.

They are water resistant, meaning when I ran them under some water in the sink it repelled it, but when you fully swim they absorb water just like any other padding. It's difficult to find this shape that aren't flat on your chest. I'd prefer silicone, but those are heavy. These are fabric & have a little push up on the bottom and can be pinned inside your bra (or slipped inside a pocket) and are very lightweight so NOT heavy! In general, I liked these bra pads, they are well made and have stitching in a circle that will not spoil and tear the foam when washed, as is usually the case with the original bra pads. I also liked that the description has a size chart to help you choose the right size. But in the description it is stated that they are waterproof – this is not so, I do not understand why mislead people. Water repellent yes, but not waterproof.
